Hello and welcome to Balanced Elements Acupuncture! My name is Dionea Nadir and I am a licensed and Nationally Board Certified acupuncturist with a Master of Science degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine from Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington. I have lived in Seattle for most of my life and love the forests and beaches in the surrounding areas. I like to go hiking, I stay active with yoga, and have a regular qigong practice that helps me remain grounded and present.
I initially became interested in studying acupuncture through my own experiences with relief of chronic pain through acupuncture treatments and herbal medicine. Chinese medicine has given me the tools to really get to know my patients and help guide them towards lasting health in an individualized fashion. I feel very fortunate as an acupuncturist to help patients initiate the powerful healing that the body is capable of, and watch them transform their health.
I treat a variety of health conditions and specialize in chronic pain management, digestive conditions, mood disorders, insomnia, women’s reproductive health, and dermatology. Many of the physical discomforts that we live with on a daily basis can be treated through acupuncture, and seemingly unrelated symptoms may be connected.
Chinese medicine takes a holistic approach to health that views a person and their environment as interconnected, seeking to restore and maintain balance in the body. My goal is to help each of my patients restore balance within their bodies resulting in decreased pain, increased energy, well-being, and longevity.
